Your Career as a Tax Manager- Hybrid:

As a Tax Manager, you will lead team members to learn, develop, and utilize their skillset to organize and process important financial data. You will support our client’s success by developing professional relationships and advise them on financial tax strategies. Responsibilities as a Tax Manager:
• Manage staff including delegation of work, training, and supervision
• Review tax work of staff
• Prepare, review and sign tax returns – Prepare Partnership, S-corporation, and C-corporation tax returns, including multi-state filings
• Prepare, review, and sign Individual and Trust tax returns
• Assist with the billing process/perform client billing
• Market to new clients and conduct business development activity in the community
• Serve current clients as their trusted adviser
• Maintain client contact at the executive level
• Manage projects/client relationships
• Prepare responses to correspondence from taxing authorities
• Perform tax research and tax projections

Experience as a Tax Manager:
• 5+ years of relevant experience to the listed responsibilities
• Excellent project management skills
• Creative problem solver with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills and a passion for helping clients
• Demonstrated ability in business development and project management
Qualifications as a Tax Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Holds CPA designation
• Flexibility to meet seasonal workload
• Willingness to travel for client projects and development opportunities
• Proficiency with ProSystem Fx Tax and Fixed Asset programs is ideal
